Mar. 31, Headlines - The intense Democratic race is getting even hotter as influential people are calling for Hillary Clinton to drop out. That's what Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy told Vermont Public Radio, saying she has no chance of making up her deficit in seated delegates.

Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd also suggested Clinton has unnecessarily prolonged the race. In an interview with the Washington Post, Clinton pledged to take the race all the way to the convention or until a plan is worked out for Florida and Michigan's delegates which were stripped because the state Hillary Clinton failed to follow Democratic party primary rules. Barack Obama said Clinton should not drop out.

Barack Obama is continuing his bus tour across Pennsylvania where he is focusing on small personal gatherings. Hillary Clinton has returned to Pennsylvania.

Presumptive Republian nominee John McCain released his first general election advertisement. The ad, being aired in New Mexico, is meant to be an introduction to the candidate. The title of the ad is 624787, his navy tag number.
