Mar. 4, Headlines - Ohio, Texas, Vermont and Rhode Island voters vote or caucus today, and in
Texas' case, they vote and caucus. But with more than 400 delegates sought,
the Democratic race is unforgiving.
The Hillary Clinton campaign
says they will "contain Obama's momentum," signaling
that the race will continue.
"I believe we're going to do well tomorrow and I believe that will
be a significant message to the country and then we move on to Pennsylvania
and to the states still ahead. I'm just getting warmed up," Clinton
says.
Both Clinton and Obama are trying to get the word out to voters in Texas about
the obscure primary system that calls for people to caucus in addition to cast
their ballots. The Obama campaign is calling on volunteers to call their friends,
hoping to make 1.5 million calls in just one week.
The Barack Obama is attempting to derail reports about a meeting his staffer
had with Canadian officials. Obama says he did not give any guarantee to the
Canadians that his tough talk against NAFTA is
simply rhetoric.
