Barack Obama sweeps another three contests. He garnered huge wins over Hillary Clinton in the so called Potomac Primary of Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC.

In Virginia and Maryland, Obama received more than 60 percent of the vote. In the Maryland and the District more than 3/4 of the voters backed him.

Visiting churches and schools, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama hope for a big turn out in today's first ever Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC primary.

Barack Obama told a crowd in Alexandria, Virginia, "Like your son sees someone different as president after 43 of them, the 44th, hey that guy has a funny name like me. It changes our perceptions in this country but it also changes perceptions overseas."

It was a big weekend for Barack Obama.

He swept every single primary and caucus. Louisiana, Nebraska, Washington, Maine and the Virgin Islands, he beat Hillary Clinton overwhelmingly – 2 voters to 1.

"Hillary and I both want universal healthcare, but unless we can put a working majority together it doesn't matter what plans are adopted, they will not pass through the Congress."
